Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Harry Potter dan Relikui Kematian)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (UK: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) is seventh and final book of Harry Potter series of novels by J. K. Rowling. Translation in the Indonesian language version was published in hardcover and softcover versions, each on 13 and 26 January 2008. Previously, the English version of Deathly Hallows, was launched simultaneously worldwide in 93 countries, on July 21, 2007, one minute after midnight (00:01), British Summer Time.

The title of this book was published on December 21, 2006 through Rowling’s website and confirmed shortly afterwards by the publisher. Rowling has said that the last series was attributed to the previous book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which he said “almost like two halves of a single novel.” Rowling left a signed statement, written on a marble bust at the Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh, which states;

“JK Rowling finished writing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in this room (652) on January 11, 2007.”

In his website on February 6, 2007, Rowling stated

“Although I love every previous Potter book, ‘Deathly Hallows’ is my favorite, and this is a very nice way to finish this series.”

This book received the title best-seller on Amazon and Barnes and Noble just a few hours after its release date was announced.
